In particolare, entrando a far parte del Team di Infrastructure & cloud del nostro dipartimento di IT interno di Milano, potrai occuparti di supportare la crescita e l’evoluzione verso un modello cloud‑first mantenendo al contempo solide capacità on‑prem .

Nello specifico, ti occuperai di:

• Cloud Engineering (focus Azure): Progettare, implementare e gestire workload Azure principalmente PaaS con attenzione a: Compute, Storage, Virtual Networking, Load Balancing, App Services Identity & Access Management (Entra ID), RBAC e gestione privilegi Monitoraggio avanzato (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Alerts) Backup (Azure Backup) Cost governance e ottimizzazione dei consumi cloud
• Infrastructure Operations – Ambienti ibridi: Gestire e ottimizzare infrastrutture on-prem: Windows/Linux Server, AD, VMware, storage SAN/NAS, backup, networking L2/L3.
• Security & Zero Trust Applicare best practice di sicurezza su Azure e on-prem: hardening, MFA, patching, gestione vulnerabilità logging/alerting centralizzati adozione dei principi Zero Trust in collaborazione con il team Security
• Automazione & Standardizzazione: Sviluppare e mantenere automazioni (Bicep/PowerShell/Bash). Standardizzare processi operativi e configurazioni.
• Business Continuity & Performance: Garantire disponibilità e continuità operativa: piani DR/BCP, test periodici, performance tuning.
• IT Operations Gestione incident/change/problem secondo ITIL. Supporto di 2°/3° livello e collaborazione con team cross-funzionali.

Come As You Are - Le tue competenze e caratteristiche

Questa opportunità è perfetta per te se:

• Hai 4–6 anni in ruoli di System/Cloud Administration su ambienti ibridi.
• Solida esperienza su: Azure (compute, storage, networking, identity, security)
• Active Directory, DNS/DHCP/GPO
• VMware, SAN/NAS, backup
• Hai una conoscenza della lingua inglese almeno B2.
• Verranno considerati plus la conoscenza di: Kubernetes/containers, Linux

Do Work That Matters – Your Role and Responsibilities

KPMG Business Services provides internal services to the organization, supporting all service lines and assisting professionals in managing their daily activities. In particular, by joining the Infrastructure & Cloud Team within our Internal IT Department in Milan , you will contribute to the growth and evolution towards a cloud-first model , while maintaining strong on-premises capabilities.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Cloud Engineering (focus on Azure) Designing, implementing, and managing Azure workloads, mainly PaaS services, with a focus on: Compute, Storage, Virtual Networking, Load Balancing, and App Services. Identity & Access Management (Entra ID), RBAC, and privilege management. Advanced monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts. Backup management (Azure Backup). Cost governance and cloud consumption optimization.
• Infrastructure Operations – Hybrid Environment : Managing and optimizing on-premise infrastructures including Windows/Linux Servers, Active Directory, VMware, SAN/NAS storage, backup systems, and L2/L3 networking.
• Security & Zero Trust: Applying security best practices across Azure and on-prem environments, including system hardening, MFA implementation, patch management, and vulnerability management. Managing centralized logging and alerting. Supporting the adoption of Zero Trust principles in collaboration with the Security team.
• Automation & Standardization: Developing and maintaining automation scripts and infrastructure templates using Bicep, PowerShell, or Bash. Standardizing operational processes and infrastructure configurations.
• Business Continuity & Performance: Ensuring service availability and operational continuity through DR/BCP planning, periodic testing, and performance tuning.
• IT Operations: Managing incidents, changes, and problems according to ITIL practices. Providing Level 2/3 support and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Come As You Are – Your skills and experience

This opportunity is a great fit for you if you:

• Have 4–6 years of experience in System Administration or Cloud Administration roles within hybrid environments.
• Have solid experience with Azure (compute, storage, networking, identity, security) .
• Have experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO .
• Have experience with VMware, SAN/NAS storage, and backup solutions .
• Have English proficiency at B2 level or higher .

Nice to have: Experience with Kubernetes or container technologies and Linux systems .
